WMMB mission: To “help grow the demand for Wisconsin milk by providing programs that enhance the competitiveness of the state’s dairy industry:” Key WMMB roles within Wisconsin’s dairy industry include: working to establish new markets, funding dairy-related research, educating consumers about the quality and nutritional importance of Wisconsin milk and dairy products, and showcasing the important economic contribution that dairy makes to our communities and our state. |


Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), in kind donor to the TURBO program
WEDC mission: To elevate the Wisconsin economy to be the best in the world by providing a positive business climate, world-class support services, and economic development tools to accelerate business start-up, attraction, and growth. |


Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP)
DATCP works for a healthy environment, safe food supply and fair business practices. The agency is organized into six divisions including agricultural resource management, animal health, food safety, agricultural development, trade and consumer protection and management services. The Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection has nine citizen members to review major policy issues related to DATCP programs and approve all DATCP rules. |


Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF)
WARF promotes, encourages and aids scientific investigation and research at the University of Wisconsin–Madison by helping to commercialize the technology arising out of these research activities. Successful commercialization efforts provide new products to benefit society. Proceeds are reinvested into the university and its research programs to further new scientific endeavors. |


UW Office of Corporate Relations (OCR)
The Office of Corporate Relations is strategically positioned within the Chancellor’s Economic Development Team. Our mission is to help businesses of all sizes connect to the resources of UW–Madison. We help solve business challenges, create new products, and help to grow the economy.


Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA)
WCMA exists to support the success of dairy manufacturers. We advocate for industry, educate and train industry personnel and promote integrity and growth for the makers of dairy foods. |


College of Agriculture and Life Science (CALS)
CALS carries out UW-Madison’s mission as a land-grant public university through excellence in teaching, research and public outreach across 19 academic fields, ranging from production agriculture to natural resources to social sciences to fundamental life sciences. By encouraging collaboration and innovation among these fields, the college helps address problems and create opportunities that affect our food, our environment, our health and our energy future. |

Enhance international demand for U.S. dairy products and assist the industry to increase the volume and value of their exports. |


Madison Region Economic Partnership (MadREP)
Madison Region Economic Partnership (MadREP) is the lead economic development agency for the eight-county Madison Region. With a vision to create a dynamic environment where people and businesses thrive, MadREP fills an important role in Wisconsin’s economic development landscape, serving as a partner and collaborator to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and other state agencies, as well as economic development initiatives within counties, municipalities, chambers of commerce, and the private sector. |
